Most restaurants carry a very limited quantity of rose wines and usually it is the white zin. It's just a matter of supply and demand. Not much of a demand.

In NJ, most restaurants are BYO, so I bring my own bottle in. Even in restaurants with a liquor license, they will allow you to bring your own bottle. They might charge you a corkage fee however. call in advance to see if you can do so.
