Default Cochinita Pibil - I made a mistake by adding the red-wine vinegar to the pork

while it cooks - will that ...? make it tough? It was supposed to go in with the sauce after the pork is cooked. I'm doing the slow cooker method. Is this going to be a waste?

That will just make it better to my way of thinking. Recipes are just a guide anyway. I stopped using them long time ago, and i am still a good cook. My family says so.
