A nice dark red?

It's actually scientifically proven to help prevent some disease or another.

Personally I think its just an excuse to drink.

The Europeans do it and other then the obvious they're okay.

As for the glow and charm, if you had some wine, and the person looking at you did too. We call that the magic of Alcoholic Chemistry.

Kinda like the Beer Effect only classier.

no wine does not make your face glow or be charming.
just dont consume too much of the wine or else you could get drunk and do stupid stuff that you would regret.
but i dont think it would effect you, probably cause an addiction though because you might mentally think that you will NEED a glass everynight and that could cause problems.

To be perfectly honest, the jury is still out on that question. Some research has suggested a glass of wine - three or four ounces - a day can help prevent heart disease. Some more recent research fails to bear this out. Best advice for now is, enjoy your glass of wine, but only one a day, and don't expect spectacular health benefits from it.

Yes, it can be helpful, in light moderation.

I would not drink wine every night. But a little wine never hurt anyone.

I've heard that if you drink one glass a day it's good for you. Not more than that on a daily basis though.

A glass a day is good for you. Red wine is a particularly rich source of antioxidants flavonoid phenolics, so many studies to uncover a cause for red wine's effects have focused on its phenolic constituents, particularly resveratrol and the flavonoids. Resveratrol, found in grape skins and seeds, increases HDL cholesterol and prevent blood clotting. Flavonoids, on the other hand, exhibit antioxidant properties helping prevent blood clots and plaques formation in arteries. Drink in moderation is good rule.

Red wine is good for the heart. Since alcohol is a depressant use it in moderation.
