Default Wine connoisseurs, what is your preference; Napa or Sonoma?

Napa for cabernets only...possibly the Syrahs, the rest of red and white wines are probably better from Sonoma - at least for American tastes which are a bit more inclined to fruiter wines. Best wines for my tastes come from the Russian River area, or the Carneros region.

Soooo much depends on the grape variety and the wine maker that this question is not really answerable.

BTW my favorite red wine is Pinot Noir made by Domaine Carneros (sex in a glass) 8-P -
