why dose wine price has such huge variation?
take away the rarity and the age, does it really taste that much different for a $10 bottle than say a hundred or thousand dollar bottle? what exactly justify the cost?
or even between a $10 bottle vs a $20 bottle? is it just the taste preference to drive people buying the $20 bottle? i know there's no guarantee the $20 bottle will absolutely taste better then the $10 bottle, right? it seems like there is no standard in this industry?
maybe this is just a stupid question to the wine lover, but it truely is mistery and very confusing to average consumer.
i donno what is the population of people who really "into wine", but for me, $20 is a lot of money to spend on uncertainty, there's no return or exchange. lol.
just curious what is the decision when you standing at the wine aisle staring at a $16 bottle and a $20 bottle, it is pretty much like a crap shoot to me...
