Need Opensuse "YAST" help, installing software, such as "WINE"?
I am using Opensuse 10.2, with YAST manager. I got into the installation manager, where you search for the programs that are available on that given repository. However, when I try to install WINE(Windows 32 emulator), there are two steps, it asks me for a CD? It says to insert the disc... what disc? The Opensuse installation disc, or what? Anyways, I thought "OK, maybe this is just a possible method I can take, but just optional." so i chose to skip that test. It then went on to the installation process meter, looking to me(a complete Linux noob) as if the program was installing. It completes, and it asks me if I want to install any more oprograms, and I click no. The YAST prog shuts down. I go to look everywhere on the menu for WINE, I even use the search top look for it. No files were installed on the system which included the word "WINE" meaning basicly, the package was not installed. Could somome help me with this? Please don't point to some useless instruction page. THANKS!!!!!!!
