Default I received a bottle of 2006 Sunrise Carmenere Chile Wine for a gift?

Id like to know if it is good to cook with, and I am curious as to the value. Thanks!

Emerill says "don't cook with anything you wouldn't drink".
So, if you'd drink it...I don't see why not. Go for it.
