Default A half bottle of Pinot Noir and a glass of Merlot later?

and it is time for me to go to bed. I will leave you with one last question. What do you feel is the biggest generational difference between GLBTQI idividuals?

From a Bi woman's perspective. I often wonder how many of the young women who claim to be Bi actually are or are they just saying/doing because it's seems to be the 'cool' thing to do. During my teens there were only a few of us, we kept to ourselves and never publicly admitted our orientation unless we had to, we were freaks. The straights hated us, the Gay & Lesbians hated us. It p*sses me off that to be Bisexual is another fad, it seems to me that the older generations who have had to fight for acceptance are now seen as a novelty.

What I'm about to say isn't restricted to the GLBT community. Its likely true of most any minority group.

I'm 54 and came out in the mid-70's. We marched in the streets. We had rallies. We worked our butts off for every single little acknowledgment and right.

I'm not sure that the younger generation realizes how much work it takes to be free and to remain free. Freedom is never free.

from Stonewall to now? If that's the case I would have to say the fact that even though we have a far way to go, we are somewhat tolerated, and most of us are comfortable in being out, and not on the low down.

That and that introduction of AIDS/HIV.
