Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between Marquis Phillips 9 Shiraz and Marquis Phillips S9 Shiraz? I recently saw a review that gave the "S9" a 96 point rating.
I've never heard of the S9 before but I've had many bottles of the delicious #9

As far as i know there is no such thing as S9. It may have just been the way it was written or a typo. They make an even higher end shiraz called 'Integrity'. They do bottle a cabernet called S2. I think the intent is S squared. Maybe this is what is confusing things. It's a very good cab. I too love the shiraz 9. I recently drank my last bottle of the 02 vintage and i have several bottles of the 05. It is even better than the 2002.
