I'm making home made wine from grape juice just to see if i could do it, but i...

...think i put in too much yeast? I took some grape juice out of the bottle and replaced it with a mix of water, a lot of sugar and one small pack of yeast. i've let it sit for one day now and my plan is to let it sit for a week before i filter it and try it. Does anybody think it will be decent or are there any tips for my next batch?
