I think I would buy it more for its merit as a wine rather than just the organic status. I'm not sure I put as much priority on wine grapes being organically grown as I do on fruits and vegetables. After all, why bother avoiding trace amounts of pesticides when the alcohol is slowly killing me anyway! That's like smoking organically grown tobacco.
I am, however, intrigued by the concept of biodynamic grape farming. A lot of it is rather flakey pagan astrological stuff, but it does embody responsible, sustainable farming methods along with an organic approach. Whether the methods really result in better wines is a subject of debate, but it seems that any winery willing to put such expense and investment into converting to biodynamic, and tolerate the inherent reduction in yield per acre, is sure to be committed to making wines of a high calibre.
